Today's Spanish lesson consists of the following two remarkably similar words:

• esposo,-a: spouse, husband or wife
• esposas: handcuffs

Back in the day, when someone would forget something, they'd say they had a "brain fart."  More recently, it seems I'm hearing people in the same situation claim they are having a "senior moment."

These days I think it's best to say "brain fart," because poopy humor is always better than self-deprecation.
